Hotels.com Wants To Pay You To Sit By The Pool and Airbnb Wants To Send You Around The World. Say OK!

What’s better than sitting at your desk all day, checking Instagram non stop and filling out self evaluations for your performance review? Well, anything if you ask. So, here are two offers running from Airbnb and Hotels.com trying to inspire (or pay) you to see the world.

Hotels.com - Are you a crafty copy writer with a penchant for pools? Well, swim no further. Hotels.com (part of big momma Expedia Corp) is searching for the right person to travel to six pools around the country. And yes, you get some cash money for it - $10,000. The properties include the fabulous Four Seasons Hualalai in Hawaii, the Mondrian Los Angeles, the SLS Las Vegas, the Garden of the Gods Club and Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the The William Vale Hotel in Brooklyn, and the National Hotel in Miami. Not bad right?

Apply here (one entry per person and offer good through June 25th)

Airbnb Adventures*: To kick off their new planning guides, Airbnb is putting together some sick travel packages that extend far beyond just your room and board. Airbnb’s Adventures is your curated journey. If you have some free time on your hand, book your trip to be the next global ambassador with their trip around the world. Get to London by September 1 and start to explore Europe, North and South America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East, and the South Pacific all planned by Airbnb. I guess you will just have to schedule Antarctica on your own. For $5,000, Airbnb has you covered along the entire journey. That’s not a bad price tag for a journey of a lifetime. Sabbatical anyone?
